Major Moscow's Strikes Eliminate Electricity In Kyiv

Power facilities under attack in Ukraine
Ukraine's energy systems have come under increased strikes in the past few days

During the night, Russian aerial assaults have resulted in electricity outages in large parts of the capital city, Kyiv.

A number of civilians were wounded while inhabitants in eastern districts were left without electricity and faced interruptions to water systems, according to municipal leaders.

Simultaneously, a seven-year-old child was killed in a different assault in the southeastern region in the southern area, according to regional authorities.

Moscow has increased strikes on energy facilities over recent weeks, while Ukrainian leadership has demanded "real steps" from international partners to exert influence on Russia.

"What's needed is not symbolic gestures but decisive action - from the America, Europe and the Group of Seven - in delivering protection systems and applying restrictions," mentioned in a social media post.

Officials stated that 450 drones and over thirty missiles targeted energy facilities, describing such attacks as "premeditated" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as the weather cools.

Energy officials said Moscow was "inflicting a massive strike" and technical staff were laboring to repair systems.

A series of attacks struck power facilities and apartment buildings in the capital.

Several of the people wounded in the assaults on the city have been taken to hospital, per statements from city authorities.

Regional authorities said the urban area endured significant strikes during nighttime hours. A seven-year-old child died and multiple civilians were wounded.

The attacks come after evenings of air raids in the region, portions of which remain under the control of Russian forces.

The entire country is in a state of readiness for advanced weapon attacks, which are harder to spot.

Authorities told journalists that Moscow was intentionally trying to demolish the national power system, with strikes already affecting gas facilities.

Authorities confirmed technical personnel and government agencies were bracing for additional strikes.
